The mission of the Pittsburg Unified School District Athletic Department is to provide students with an opportunity to compete successfully in a sports program that enriches their educational experience. Participation in athletics will provide students an opportunity to become involved with other students and their coaches in an educational experiencethat takes place outside the classroom.

 

The goal for our students is to learn lessons in sportsmanship, teamwork, competition. Success should be defined and measured by asking ourselves how well we prepared our students for a productive life in our society?
